Questions we kept being asked, answered properly. Every competitor figure was read off that vendor's own published pricing page, and each page says when. Where the answer is "no" or "you want a different product", it says that instead.
- How much does DocuSign actually cost for a team?DocuSign's published plans are $11 a month for Personal, $30 per user per month for Standard and $45 per user per month for Business Pro.
- Is PandaDoc cheaper than DocuSign?Sometimes.
- What is the cheapest e-signature tool for a small team?For one or two people, a per-seat tool is cheapest: PandaDoc Starter at $19 per seat per month, Better Proposals at $13 per user, or DocuSign Personal at $11 a month for 5 envelopes.
- When do I have to give notice on an auto-renewing contract?Count the notice period backwards from the renewal date.
- What is an envelope in e-signature pricing?An envelope is one package of documents sent to one set of recipients for signature.
- Can AI write a legally binding contract?Yes to drafting, and yes to the signature, but those are two different questions and only one of them is about AI.
- Should a language model calculate the total on a quote?No.
- Do I need contract lifecycle management, or just a contract repository?If a lawyer negotiates contracts that arrive from outside your company, you need contract lifecycle management: redlining, clause libraries, approval workflow and obligation tracking.
